Way Out West BBQ Stockton

Stockton California this weekend will host the 4^th Annual Way Out West BBQ Championship during the Taste of San Joaquin. Meet national ranked BBQ Teams, Locally owned and operated restaurants, wineries and a Firework Show. Food samples start out at $1 a taste.  

This event will take place on the Downtown Stockton Waterfront. Ribs, Chicken, brisket and tri-tip will be on the menu for your enjoyment.

Cook-off Schedule:
7:00 am-8:30 am      Check-in and set up cooking areas.  No early check-in.

8:45 am-9:00 am      Cook’s meeting in Judging Tent.

9:00 am-12:00          Prep & cook time

12:00 pm                   Public tasting begins

12:30 pm                   Judging begins

4:00 pm                     Deliver Taste tickets to judging area

5:30 pm                     Awards
