The Battle of the Bones is getting bigger each year. I personally have never been to the event but have heard good thing from all my BBQ friends that have. It's a fun family event filled with live music, kids activities and good Barbecue to enjoy. There's even a Rib Eating Contest. Get a full belly and be crowned the top Rib Eater of all time. The kids can enjoy face painting, a petting zoo, and a bounce house section. Nine bands will preform all weekend long for your enjoyment.
Local Craft Beer makers will be vending along with the top restaurants in the area. 2012 is the first year this event is sectioned by the PNWBA. PNWBA will enforce the rules for the BBQ teams and will assure that all judging is performed consistently with their established barbecue standards, The competition is open to public enjoyment as it has the past years.
