Heres a contest for all my Photo Hunters out there.
If you enjoy shooting turkeys with a camera, the NWTF has a contest for you.
Details on how to enter the NWTF Photo Contest are below; entries are due Dec. 17.
- Submissions must be images of live, wild turkeys. Please, no photos of captive, imprinted or tame birds.
- Entries must be submitted as original 35mm or larger
format color slides or 8x10 or 8x12 color prints. Other size prints and
photocopies will not be considered. Prints from digital images must not
be cropped and show the entire frame as taken. The photographer must
maintain the original, unaltered camera file, and present it upon
request from the NWTF.
- Submissions must be received by Turkey Country no later than Dec. 17, 2011.
- Each participant may submit up to three slides or photos
for consideration. A self-addressed stamped envelope must be included
for return of photos. Entries that do not contain a SASE will not be
returned.
- The photographer's name, address and phone number must be printed on each submission.
- Entries will be judged, and the top selections will be published in Turkey Country.
Prizes of $1,500, $1,000 and $500 will be awarded for the top three
photos, respectively. The top three images will become the property of
the NWTF. This includes all-time reproduction rights.
