Sacramento County Fair

You know is Spring time when the county fairs start kicking in Northern California. This weekend is the 2011 Sacramento County Fair celebrating 75 years of Fair Memoirs & Magic. There is going to be sea lion encounters, enchanted forest, circus imagination, live music, carnival, barn animals, comedy and of course a ton of good food. The best part of a fair is the grill and anything deep fried. It’s the one time you can get a deep fired Twinkie right next to a ride featuring some kid losing his cookies as they spin in a circle. Who could miss that?  Not to mention that there is also a Diaper Derby and a Karaoke Contest. On Saturday there is the Demolition Derby for all my redneck friends. It’s the best part of the day right there.
