You know is Spring time when the county fairs start kicking in Northern California.
This weekend is the 2011 Sacramento County Fair celebrating 75 years of Fair Memoirs & Magic. There is going to be sea lion encounters, enchanted forest, circus imagination, live music, carnival
, barn animals, comedy and of course a ton of good food. The best part of a fair is the grill and anything deep fried. It’s the one time you can get a deep fired Twinkie right next to a ride featuring some kid losing his cookies as they spin in a circle. Who could miss that? Not to mention that there is also a Diaper Derby and a Karaoke 
Contest. On Saturday there is the Demolition Derby for all my redneck friends. It’s the best part of the day right there.
