Sam’s Club and Kansas City Barbeque Society 
(KCBS) have teamed up to create the largest purse for barbecue 
competitions. A total of $400,000 is on the line. The tour called “Inaugural Sam’s Club National Tour” will feature 20 local qualifying events, five regional events and one national championship that will be held in Bentonville, Arkansas for a total of 26 events. That is a lot new events for teams this year.

That is a lot new events for teams this year. The event kicked off in Arizona a few day ago and will only hit California 
once and lucky for us it’s in Sacramento on El Camino April 15th & 16th. Thirty teams are trying to be crowned the local champ in order to take part in the regional event in Las Vegas
. With KCBS and Sam’s Club behind this tour, I’m sure its going to be one of the biggest BBQ events in town. This is huge event for the local teams to show the rest of the barbecue world what we are doing in California. This tour may not hit us next year so come on out and show your support.
