Beer Can Chicken

Spring is right around the corner and its beer can chicken time once again. Who am I kidding, beer can chicken is year around. Shoving a beer up a chickens backside was a wonderful concept developed by a couple of dudes trying to get a chicken drunk. Why they were getting the chicken drunk was never talked about by their experiment turned into the best way to Q a chicken.

Everyone’s got their own spice combination and beer they use, but we all hate the fat flair up. This makes grilling beer can chicken a little changing at times. Plus using a beer can is not the best way to keep the chicken standing at times. For the past few years I have been using different chicken roasters on my grill. Some come with two barrels and some just one. After all my attempts to find the best product to roast my chicken I have came up with a short list of my top ones.

Bayou Classic Stainless Steel Beer Can Chicken Rack: Doesn’t take up too much space on the grill. You still get to use your favorite beer can with a spice mixture. Easy to clean and can be taken on trips or tailgating.

The list is short. The Bayou is good for camping, tailgating and anywhere on the go. Man Cave’s roaster is perfect for home parties. Combine one of the beer can chicken roasters with Steven Raichlen’s Beer Can Chicken Cook Book and you got a recipe for success. Mr. Raichlen is the barbecue god. He has produced more barbecue cookbooks then anyone. His PBS show is one of the best bbq style shows on television.

Now that you have all the information that you need to cook the perfect Beer Can Chicken you need to send up your pictures. We will put together a Beer Can Chicken Video with them all.
