August 27-28 head over to Konocti Vista Casino for a weekend of barbecue. It’s a cool event that happens every year and is made possible by the people you come on down and sample some of the best barbecue in the west. These teams come from all over to try there hand at over $7,000 in prize money. Some of this years teams are, Slap Yo Daddy BBQ (become more famous everyday), Smitty’s Smoke Patrol, Big Pig BBQ, and the Smokin Yankee’s BBQ. The list goes on with more then 30 total teams at this point confirmed to attend.
Chicken, Ribs, Pork and Brisket will be on the menu for the weekend. It’s a fun event for the whole family and you can talk and meet some of the best Pit Masters
