A little puppy had an unfortunate accident with a barbecue fork being stuck in its brain. The dog owners broke a BBQ fork broke while grilling and it ended up in the pups head. The dog named Smokey ran away into the nearby woods.
After two days of searching for the dog they found it and took it to the Cumberland Valley Animal Hospital in London Kentucky. The Docs gave Smokey a 50-50 chance of making it. The operation didn’t take any time at all. It was only 30 seconds. The fork missed major parts of the dogs head and was only stuck in the brain.
Smokey will live the rest of his life just like every other dog. He has some nerve ending damage around one eye but it should heal over time.
