Food trucks in Sacramento
California have had a rough few
years. 3 years back they were going to be totally outlawed. Then food trucks
started popping up around the country as top places to get good food at a low
price. The newest truck to hit the streets in Sac
County is the Coast to Coat Truck
started by two dudes from New York and Louisiana. With a culinary
arts background and hard work they have been selling hot sandwiches around the
916 for several months.
Co-owners Robert Ramos and Sean Figueroa had a hard time to
find sandwiches in the Sac Town area that were like ones they found in other
parts of the country, so they did what any good business person does, they went
into business making and sell what they love. Getting the idea off the ground
at Culinary School they found it would be a little easier
to find money backers if they opened a food truck instead of a brick and mortar
place. Lots of up and coming chefs are following this trend. It’s not easier,
due to the tough laws and health code rules, but it can be cheaper and a
quicker way to get your food out to the masses.
Today you can find the Coat to Coat Sandwich
truck all over the Sacramento Area. Sandwiches like the Nor Cal BLT, New York
City Pastrami and a world class Reuben that sell for as little as seven bucks.
The lunch time crowd has nothing but good things to say about this new food
truck.
Go to http://coasttocoastsandwiches.com
for there official food truck site and find them on Facebook under Coast to
Coast Sandwiches. Enjoy.
