REDWOOD — The Redwood Historical Society will host a chicken barbecue dinner fundraiser at noon Oct. 3 at the Redwood Tavern on Route 37.
Free pumpkins will be given to children at the event.
The dinner will cost $8 and half a chicken will cost $4.50. The dinner includes half a chicken, salt potatoes, coleslaw, biscuits, coffee and dessert.
Entertainment will be provided by the Chippewa Breeze Band.
All proceeds will go toward obtaining the former Redwood Bank building, which has been converted into a museum, and its maintenance thereafter.
